In early 2008 Julie developed a chronic form of Guillain-Barre Syndrome. 
Unfortunately she had a relapse of the symptoms in 2009 which led to significant physical disabilities. 

In the autumn of 2011 Julie was offered a six month treatment option which she will be completing in the spring of 2012.  
It is hoped that the treatment will put the symptoms into remission to stop the disabling aspects of the condition.
